I originally applied to the MSOM program as I saw it as a good way to receive a quality education on my own time in a subject I was very interested in pursuing. I really liked the fact that there were a variety of electives that allowed me to refine my skills in different areas I am interested in and also allowed me to branch out and discover new interests.
In my time in the program, I took a variety classes that have already benefited me in my career but the one that stood out to me was my Quality Management class. This was a class that I admittedly was skeptical to take at first but came to love once I was done. I learned many things like what is quality, why it is important to an organization, practices to implement new processes to improve quality, and how to sell my ideas to management.
I plan to use the skills I have learned in the MSOM program to help me reach my goal of a Real Estate Manager.
