“After talking with several U of A alumni around the Millington, TN Navy Campus, I knew that the MSOM program would be exactly the challenge I was looking for in a master’s program. Many of the prior MSOM students really enjoyed their experience in the program and the quality of instruction it provided with real world instructor experience. 
 
I recently transitioned to a new position within my organization, from a HR Specialist to Program Analyst. This program, both the Project Management and Lean Six Sigma certifications combined with Operations Management degree, has provided relevant knowledge that allows for better perform my duties and to be a more efficient and effective employee in areas such as design of goods and services, managing quality and process and capability design. 
 
For me the best part of the program was the interaction and collaboration with other students from a diverse background, both personally and professionally. In addition, I really enjoyed the real-world experience and insight the instructors brought with them to the classroom. I feel this program has helped me further develop in my career and will open up many more opportunities. 
 
I was most excited by the fact that about a week after completing the advanced project management course I sat for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) exam and scored above target in nine of the thirteen areas tested. I plan to continue on with my PMP certification.”
