“The MSOM program has been an awesome program for my situation while being a full-time employee at the University of Arkansas Police Department. The eight-week courses allow me to keep my schedule flexible while attaining my graduate degree. 
 
I was referred to this program by an MSOM Alumni who is the current Chief of Police at Mississippi State. This program is giving me the tools that will allow me to continue my journey to reach my goal of becoming a Chief of Police at a University setting. 
 
Since I have started the program, I have recruited several people that I know into the program. I also enjoyed accomplishing the same goal with fellow students, co-workers, and friends within the program. I have taken a variety of courses that have developed my critical thinking skills. 
 
My favorite class so far has been Unmanned Aircraft Systems for Operation Managers. One of my proudest moments in this program was getting my drone pilot’s license. This allows me to incorporate what I learned to enhance my on the job skills with my department which owns three drones. 
 
I have already completed the Homeland Security Graduate Certificate program. I was able to accomplish this without taking additional courses. I am very confident that this program will prepare me for the next level of my career.”
