I applied to the MSOM program at UARK because I was interested in furthering my education in the operations field. I have about 5 years of manufacturing experience and I really enjoy this field; I wanted to bring more talent and knowledge to my current company. I enjoyed the flexibility of the online classes and that there was a non-thesis option. 

Some of the classes I enjoyed the most were Supply Chain Management, Change Management for Operation Management, Project Management and Lean Six Sigma. I learned a lot about building and improving systems in operations, how to analyze and troubleshoot issues in this field, and how to be a better leader. My hope is to take this new knowledge and experience and apply it to my current position and that it will help me gain the professional growth and development that I wish to obtain in the Manufacturing industry.
