I was initially interested in the MSOM program because it was a good opportunity to improve myself as a Project Manager right at the beginning of my career.   As someone who chose to pursue a different environment from my undergraduate education, I felt that the MSOM program would be a great way to help prepare for the new challenges I would be taking on.  It provided the ability to learn in a flexible environment through online courses, which is ideal for anyone who is working full time but still wants to continue their education.  

The MSOM program does a great job of providing experience in many areas such as finance, leadership, cost estimation, and much more.  However, the courses focused on project management have been especially enjoyable as I have been able to apply those directly to my current role.  Not only am I able to complete a graduate degree through this program, but I also have an opportunity to receive a graduate certificate in Project Management through no additional coursework, which will be beneficial as I work towards my PMP.  I feel that the professors in this program have excellent real-world experience and truly want their students to succeed.  They have done a great job of helping students learn the material and understand how the material can be applied into real situations.   

I have grown not only professionally, but also personally throughout my time in the MSOM program.  I am confident that I will be able to use the lessons and experience I have gained from this program going forward in my career, no matter where it ends up taking me.
