“I applied to the MSOM program because I was looking for a graduate degree that I could apply to my career and offered more than a traditional MBA would. I found the program through online searches and it was exactly what I was looking for. The things that I learned over the past two years will continue to be applicable throughout my future career.
Throughout the duration of the program, I learned countless skills that I have been able to apply to my job currently, and I think will continue to apply in the future. All of the instructors do a fantastic job of encouraging students to apply the coursework to their careers, which I found to be a great way to learn the material. The coursework was always reasonable to do on top of working full time, and all of the professors were quick to respond when I had questions.
Project Management and Advanced Project Management are two classes that really stuck out to me during the program. I enjoyed learning about how to break down projects to the lowest level, find the critical path, and what to do when a project is in trouble. The professors did an outstanding job of making these topics easy to digest with various projects that we were “project managers” for during the classes.
I am incredibly thankful for my time in the MSOM program and learned so much. I look forward to continuing to use the skills I learned and knowledge gained throughout my career.”
