“I started the [Lean Six Sigma] graduate certificate program to support me in my current job as a Healthcare Consultant, we use applied Lean methodology to help our customers with process improvement initiatives. Our focus more specifically is centered around Nurse Sensitive Indicators (NSIs) that Clinical Executive teams are responsible for.  
 
All of the Chief Officer’s that I partner with have lengthy credentials behind their name and I wanted to add some weight to mine in hopes to quickly gain credibility. Customers want to be ensured that recommendations come from a solid place of understanding and are well thought out and executed. I was hoping that the Lean Graduate Certificate would have some weight with my customers and elevate the work that we were doing together. So far it has! Since I’ve started the LEAN graduate certificate, I’ve been able to directly apply more LEAN terminology and the things I’ve been learning in Kirk Michealson’s classes to my work. I’ve enjoyed Kirk Michealson’s courses so much that I decided to enroll in the full MSOM program. The course work is hard, but engaging and hands-on. You feel accomplished once you finish them.”
