My journey back to U of A and the MSOM program really started on my goal to return and complete a degree from UoA. In 1982 I decided that UoA would be my school of choice after high school. I was committed to Chemical engineering while playing football and baseball. That dream was cut short and in 1984 I returned home without obtaining my degree. Since then, I have always vowed to come back and finish what I started. One day, 2-3 years ago, I saw an advertisement for the MSOM program and decided to do it right then!!

All of the PM classes were probably at the top for me. Took a while to get the military’s way of doing projects out of my head before it clicked. When I return to work in September, currently on military assignment, I am lined up to become the VP of Vehicle Maintenance (bus/rail maintenance) for CTA. I feel that the PM cert is what will get me over the top to obtain this position. It has been open for 3 ½ years and I am looking forward to obtaining it.
