“In September 2018 I was researching professional and personal development opportunities, when I asked a colleague (an alum of the MSOM program), about the program. I began to understand the professional, personal, and versatility the program offers. I chose the program for my desire, since a young boy, to graduate as a Razorback, as well as, my professional and personal development the MSOM is providing. 

The best parts of the program are getting to meet a diverse background of classmates, the opportunity to learn from the knowledge/expertise our professors have to offer, and the opportunity to better [myself] professionally and personally. 

In my current role, Analyst – Safety at FedEx Freight, I am able to apply much of what I have obtained in the program thus far, whether through managing a project, improving my data analysis, understanding the quarterly financial reports impact on strategic decisions, or what actually takes place in developing an optimized transportation network. 

The MSOM program [I learned] the data tools, most current practices in strategic managing, most current quality managing practices, org changes, and leadership methodologies.
