After completing my bachelor’s and completing a graduate certificate, I was in search of an online master’s program that would provide me with the knowledge and skills enable me to change from an accounting career path to a role on the operational side of the business world. Through countless hours of online searches and research, I stumbled upon the MSOM program at the U of A., and I’ll be forever grateful that I did. 

The MSOM program sets itself apart from similar programs with its flexibility (18 hours of electives), multiple certificate options, reasonable tuition, and esteemed and attentive faculty – bundled with the outstanding reputation that accompanies a degree from the University of Arkansas. I was able to complete coursework ranging from key management topics such as Leadership and Strategic Management to more technical topics such as decision modeling and data analytics.  

The flexibility and wide range of courses allowed me to complete coursework ranging from key management topics such as Leadership and Strategic Management to more technical topics such as decision modeling and data analytics. In these courses, I learned skills such as “leadership by walking around”, agile project management, and data modeling in R Studio. You are truly able to customize your learning plan to tailor the degree to how it fits you and your career best! This degree will enable me to advance in my current company while giving me some of the most valuable skills in the marketplace. This degree has set me on a path to becoming a well-rounded business leader! I am proud to be a graduate of the University of Arkansas. Woo Pig Sooie!
