“My brother motivated me to apply for the MSOM program, after he had completed it. I was unsure if I would be able to balance school, work, and life at first, but the instructors and staff are extremely willing to make accommodations around busy schedules. What I liked most about the program is the technical and analytical training we received throughout. The instructors were very helpful when it came to facilitating critical thinking and applying the tools and techniques to the assignments.

My favorite class in the program was Strategic Management, with Professor Phillip Jones. We developed ourselves on multiple strategic decision-making tools and concepts throughout the class. The best part was creating a strategic plan for a local small business in Fayetteville, Arkansas and briefing their actual management team on the strategies we developed throughout the course.

Currently, I am in the process of applying Agile Management concepts I learned in Advanced Project Management to facilitate projects in the Scout Leader Course at Fort Benning, Georgia. In the future, I will be able to apply the 10 OM decisions to excel in interviews by gathering information about companies I want to work for and applying the decisions to their current processes to develop improvement recommendations.”
