“I applied to the MSOM program because the coursework and degree plan matched up well with my current role and how I plan to continue growing and leading in my industry. I enjoyed that I was able to grow and learn at my own pace, as well as leveraging the flexibility of the class structures, so I can continue to further my education without compromising other life and personal goals.  
 
I liked the courses pertaining to project management, strategic management, and leadership. I believe that all three of these categories are very important to the success of any team, or business, and have provided me with a wealth of knowledge that I can now implement in my daily life. I learned that there are various ways to approach projects and set them up for success, such as using numerous techniques to plan for budgeting, timelines and resource estimates required. Also, most importantly, I learned that investing in your people can be the best return on investment for your company by understanding what motivates them and what makes associates feel valued in the workplace.  
 
Completing this degree program can assist me in my future by increasing my knowledge in various areas of business, how to lead teams more effectively and understand the theory of different aspects in future roles, so I can be even more prepared for what my career has in store for me. ”
