I researched graduate programs extensively before deciding to pursue a MSOM from UARK. The natural path seemed to be an MBA, but I wanted something that would take me outside of my comfort zone and help diversify my experience. The MSOM degree has the perfect blend of operations, project management, leadership and strategic planning. The coursework was challenging and expanded my foundational knowledge of operations tremendously.   

It’s hard to choose a favorite class. Advanced Project Managed challenged me the most, and I appreciate how much it pushed me to develop and grow. I really enjoyed Principles of Leadership and Quality Management. Overall, it was helpful that all of the courses blended well together and each one helped me be successful in subsequent classes.   

Having this degree enables me to be more successful in my current role, and helps me to better prepare for pursuing opportunities in other divisions of my organization. I’m not sure what the future holds for my career, but I feel more confident in my ability to handle roles that I may not have previously considered.
