Ashley Henthorn

Graduating in December 2020 is Ashley Henthorn! She says she was able to immediately use what she learned in class and even received a promotion! 
 
“I chose the MSOM program because of the prestige associated with the University of Arkansas and the ability to concentrate electives into areas that interest me and I could immediately apply into my work. It also allowed me to add Graduate Certificates in both Project Management and Lean Six Sigma, without adding any additional courses. 
 
My favorite, and most unexpected, part of the MSOM program was the ability to use real problems as projects and get input from classmates who had varying backgrounds. It allowed me to get different perspectives and find better solutions I would not have considered on my own. Even as an online program, the amount of interaction and feedback from classmates and faculty is tremendous and an essential part of why the program is so useful. 
 
Applying the concepts learned in class at work has already moved me forward professionally. I was able to move from an Engineering Aide position to an Operations Engineer position in just 6 months. I firmly believe this degree, and graduate certificates, will help further my career even more in the future.”
