Graduating Spring 2020! Brandon Floyd says the courses in the program were a game-changer for him and will be invaluable in his new role at the NCAA national office.

“My time in the MSOM program has holistically developed my non-traditional career path in sports. The flexible 8-week program provided me the opportunity to explore career fields; like my internship with the Dallas Cowboys. Being able to apply objectives learned in the class room to my internship helped me better understand operations management decision making tools and the Cowboys’ organization.

Learning how to use data to support decisions related to sports speaks volumes to my success and my future position at the NCAA national office, serving as the NCAA Post Graduate Intern (PGIP) in Leadership Development. The use of project management, change management, leadership principles, human resource management, and other electives provided me with the skills to make an impact at the NCAA.

Lastly, the program diversity within career fields and the collaboration between classmates sets this program apart. The MSOM provides multiple viewpoints, development of critical thinking, and innovative decision-making tools which prepares you for the future.”
