After researching various Master programs, I decided that the Master of Science in Operations Management program from the University of Arkansas fit my needs best.  The MSOM offered me the opportunity to balance my full-time job with the program coursework. I was drawn to the program because it allowed me to combine in person and online classes.    

I also chose to pursue the Lean Six Sigma and Homeland Security certificates. Lean Six Sigma, Homeland Security and Supply Chain were my favorite classes. These classes have given me the tools to plan, lead and manage business operations as well as mitigate and manage risk. The instructors are encouraging and inspirational.  I have also met some amazing fellow students that I know will lead to long lasting relationships. The MSOM degree will allow me to transition into a new career.
